ASUS announced the ExpertBook B9 today alongside several new ZenBook laptops. ASUS calls the ExpertBook B9 the "world's lightest 14-inch business laptop." It's powered by the latest internals, including 11th Gen Intel processors, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and Thunderbolt 4. The ExpertBook is available in October, starting at £1,699.99 (roughly $2,265). ASUS has not shared details about if the laptop will launch in the U.S. at this time.
You should be able to jump into work quickly on the ExpertBook B9, thanks to its AdaptiveLock proximity sensor that helps you log into your device quickly. It also features AI noise-cancelation to deliver clear voice calls.
The ExpertBook B9 has two different battery options. The 33Wh option weights just 880g (1.94 lbs) while the 66Wh option is a bit heavier, though still quite lite, at 1.005kg (2.22 lbs). You can charge either battery option to 60 percent in 39 minutes with fast-charging. The body of the laptop doesn't change regardless of your battery choice.

ASUS packed in a nice spec sheet despite the ExpertBook B9's small size. It comes with up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 and Intel Iris Xe graphics. It has dual 2TB SSDs with support for RAID 0 and RAID 1.
The laptop also includes several ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports that can reach up to 40Gbps, a standard USB-A port, and HDMI for output.
The ExpertBook B9 should be able to take some abuse in the field. It meets MIL-STD 810H US military tests for durability. ASUS also puts the ExpertBook through several rigorous tests, which are shown above.
