Aria is the final fighter for Killer Instinct Season 2
Fans of the Xbox One-exclusive fighting game Killer Instinct will get one more official fighter to play with as part of "Season Two". Developer Iron Galaxy and publisher Microsoft have revealed the robotic female character Aria as the last fighter of the season.
Based on the new trailer, Aria sounds like she is not to be messed with. In addition to her own built-in weapons, she also can use drones that fly around her to take out her enemies. Aria will be released on Friday, May 29 for people who have purchased the $39.99 Ultra Edition of Killer Instinct Season 2. Folks who have elected to buy the $19.99 Combo Breaker edition can download Aria on June 4 and she will be available as a stand alone purchase later that month for $4.99.
While Aria is the last official character for Killer Instinct Season 2, Iron Galaxy has also committed to launching Shadow Jago, a skin of the popular Jago character, as a full-fledged fighter with his own unique moves. There's no word yet on a release date for that character. Microsoft has yet to announce plans for a Season Three for Killer Instinct.
