If you take the time to look closely at Xbox One X, it's not hard to see why Microsoft decided to charge $499 for it. It's an impressive piece of technology, and it should remain that way for the foreseeable future.
More specifically, it's powered by eight CPU cores clocked at 2.3GHz, 12GB of GDDR5 RAM and a GPU packing 40 Radeon compute units running at 1172 MHz. (Check out a full list of specs here.) And as Xbox Chief Marketing Officer Mike Nichols put it in a recent Q&A with Windows Central Senior Editor Jez Corden, "[F]rankly, I'm amazed that we were able to deliver the Xbox One X's specs that are consistent with a $1,200 to $1,500 PC if you'd built it yourself, for only $500."
He's not wrong. But $500 is still a significant chunk of change, especially for younger gamers. We're curious about whether or not you feel like the new Xbox is worth the asking price. So we created a poll where you can quickly sound off.

As I stated in that thread, I'm still on the fence about Xbox One X, even though I'm admittedly intrigued and my credit card seems to be passionately whispering "Xbox One X" all of a sudden. Hi the link below and let us know what you think of the new Xbox — and the price of entry.
