The Aorus 27-inch 1440p monitor on sale for $500 includes some advanced gaming features

The Aorus AD27QD 27-inch 1440p 144Hz FreeSync gaming monitor is down to $499.99 on Amazon. That's $100 off its street price and a first for the screen. Amazon is price matching a sale going on at Newegg that is set to expire in a few days. It's still going for $600 at other retailers like B&H.

The 27-inch screen has 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 1 ms response time. It also supports AMD's FreeSync to reduce screen tearing and is compatible with Nvidia's G-Sync when using DisplayPort. The IPS panel supports HDR and the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The stand uses an ergonomic design, and it has VESA mounting. There's even built-in RGB LED backlighting you can customize. Connectivity options include one DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and two USB 3.0 ports.

The gaming features for this monitor include a tactical display with a crosshair overlay, aim stabilizer that helps minimize motion blur, and active noise-cancelling that helps you communicate with your teammates.
