There's yet another unconfirmed report about when Microsoft might begin its long-awaited Windows 10 Mobile over-the-air update. The story claims that the update is now due for release on Thursday, March 17 for several Lumia smartphones with Windows Phone 8.1.
This latest rumor comes from the Chinese site ITHome, (via WindowsblogItalia) which claims to have a leaked document stating the Windows 10 Mobile update will be announced sometime today, March 14, for its March 17 release. It also shows the list of phones that reportedly will get the update, including the Lumia 535, 636, 638, 640, 640 XL, 830, 930 and 1520.
Keep in mind that we have seen multiple unconfirmed reports over the past few months about when the Windows 10 Mobile update will be officially released, and none of them have panned out. That may also be the case for the new update as well.
