American Express has released an official app for Windows Phone, allowing those in the US with personal, small business or corporate cards to access their account and membership benefits. The app also acts as a gateway to AMEX services regardless as to which country you may be currently situated in – perfect for those who find themselves travelling frequently.
With the app installed you'll be able to use Membership Rewards points towards various products and even gift cards; access your account while on the go to make quick payments and view recent charges; and view activity and your Membership Rewards balance. Everything is secured using the same user ID and password as you would on the AMEX website.
It's a neat app and one we'd strongly advise those who own accounts to download. Please note that this app is only available with card accounts registered in the US.
