AMD turns 50 years old this year, and the company is celebrating by launching a couple of "gold edition" hardware bundles for fans. Up for grabs are special editions for both the Radeon VII graphics card and Ryzen 7 2700X processor, each of which comes bundled with a commemorative t-shirt and two games.

"For a half century, AMD pushed the boundaries of what's possible in high-performance computing to create new experiences and possibilities for hundreds of millions of people," said John Taylor, chief marketing officer at AMD, in a press release. "We celebrate this moment with our fans around the world who inspire us to push forward in that spirit for another fifty years to 2069 and beyond."

The hardware available in each bundle has some extras that make it unique. For the Radeon VII graphics card, you'll get a red shroud and packaging that sports gold accents and "AMD50" branding. For the Ryzen 7 2700X, the processor's cover features AMD CEO Lisa Su's signature and it also comes in AMD50 packaging with gold accents.

In each bundle, you'll also score PC codes for World War Z and Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Gold Edition. Rounding things out in each bundle is an AMD50 sticker signed by AMD's CEO, along with a coupon code for a free 50th-anniversary t-shirt.

Finally, Best Buy is also looking to get in on the action and will be hosting a sale on AMD products for the anniversary celebration, offering up to $150 off on select products starting May 1.

The Ryzen 7 2700X Gold Edition is available now at Newegg for $330. The Radeon VII Gold Edition, meanwhile, is on sale direct from AMD for $700.
