Amazon throws in free Echo Dot with Alexa-enabled Acer PCs
Double Alexa, double the AI fun.
Acer and Amazon are adding a little incentive for Prime customers to buy in on a trio of laptops. The online retailer has not only reduced the price of three Alexa-enabled Acer PCs by $50, but its also throwing in a free Echo Dot to boot.
All told, the Acer Nitro 5 Spin, Acer Spin 5, and Acer Aspire are each a part of the promotion, with a range of configurations available. The common theme among all three is that they come with Amazon's Alexa voice assistant on board, along with access to all of its associated skills. Even with $50 off, prices range from $600 to $1,000, depending on the model. But the addition of a free Echo Dot sweetens the deal a bit.
And if you're looking for a way to get some tunes on the cheap, the offers include four months of Amazon Music for $0.99.
All of these deals are up for grabs right now if you're a Prime member. Even if you aren't a member already, you can sign up for a trial to take advantage of the offer and cancel before the subscription price kicks in.
