Activity Roulette - Review
Having a hard time deciding what to do? There's a Windows Phone app to help you with that.
Activity Roulette is available over at the Marketplace to help you make those tough choices on dinner, recreational activities, movies, office pranks and more. Activity Roulette includes a series of preset topics that can be listed by popularity or newness. The topics include not only social activities but roulettes for more personal activities such as studying, doing your homework, and choosing a color.
Continued after the break.
Activity Roulette also gives you the ability to create your own decision roulette by manually entering your options/choices (up to five) and the app will randomly make the selection for you.
A nice feature of Activity Roulette is that it serves as a mobile companion app to the website ActivityRoulette.com. If you have an account with the website (free registration), you can log in through the Windows Phone app and access your online account. From the website you can create and save your own roulettes and access them from your Windows Phone.
The choices generated by Activity Roulette are somewhat generalized. For example, the app won't recommend a movie title but instead a mover genre. Nonetheless, the recommendations get you pointed in the right direction and if you don't like what comes up, you can always tap the spin again button. I have to admit some of the office prank recommendations are down right cruel.

Activity Roulette ran smoothly and generates some interesting office pranks which we claim no responsibility for should you get caught. It may not be as flashy as other activity decision apps but it can hold its own. Activity Roulette is a free, ad-supported application for your Windows Phone and you can download it here (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.
