Hands-on with the Acer Aspire S 24, an all-in-one with tiny bezels and Qi charging
The new Acer Aspire S 24 is the world's first 8th-gen Intel all-in-one.
Announced today at IFA 2017, Acer's Aspire S 24 rocks a near bezel-less display, and comes with a couple of other fancy tricks.
Complete with Kaby Lake i5 and i7 Intel variants, this all-in-one also comes with Dolby Premium Sound, packing a Subwoofer into the base. It's also insanely thin, at 5.97 mm thick with a champagne gold metallic finish.
Acer says its IPS HD display provides a crisp viewing experience at all angles, with a display that can be tilted from -5 degrees to 30 degrees. It will come with up to 256 GB of SSD storage and 2 TB of HDD storage, and a unique base with Qi wireless charging capabilities. Simply place your phone while you're using the PC, and it will charge passively.
The Acer Aspire S 24 will go on sale in January 2018 starting at $999.
