If you've ever wanted to start a 3D printing hobby, you don't have to spend a fortune to make it happen. In fact, you can get some really high-quality 3D printers for just a couple hundred bucks. The SainSmart is a perfect example because it's a powerful and easy-to-use printer that's obviously less than $200 at the moment. SainSmart's Ender-3 uses a compact design, which means it can fit in the trunk of your car or the back seat. It still provides plenty of build volume, too, compared to other entry-level printers.
The 3D printer is designed to be highly precise and has V-slot POM wheels that glide smoothly and silently. What you get is a precision instrument that makes very little noise. It also does not clog or warp very easily thanks to SainSmart's patended extruder design. Reach operating temperature in just five minutes, so you don't have to wait long to get going with your newest model. Built in safeguards protect it from voltage spikes and power outages, and if your 3D printer loses power it will resume from the last layer. That helps you save time and reduce waste.
You'll receive the Ender-3 partially assembled and have to put the rest together yourself, but SainSmart likes to think of this as a "fun STEM educational experience" for all you budding mechanical engineers out there. You'll want some PLA filament to use, so pick from a variety of colors and options on Amazon.
