It has been announced that Lara Croft will soon continue her perilous adventures across the world in a new series entry, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Following a brief reveal trailer confirming a South American setting, its publisher Square Enix is teasing a full unveiling on track for April 27. Following up on 2013's Tomb Raider reboot and its successor, Rise of the Tomb Raider, the title looks to a promising next step for the franchise.
While details on Shadow of the Tomb Raider may be scarce, preorders for the title are already live on Amazon. If you're waiting to see what comes next for Lara's journey, physical copies of its Xbox One version can be preordered for $59.99. Under this listing, Amazon Prime members will also see their usual benefits. This guarantees a copy of the game for launch, currently slated for September 14, 2018.
For now, we'll have to wait for further news on the next title. In the meantime, both Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider are available for standalone purchase for Xbox One, or under Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
