Press Release

LONDON, UK – 15th March 2016 – Samsung Electronics UK today announced that its latest 2-in-1 premium tablet powered by Microsoft Windows 10, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, is available to pre-order online ahead of the device going on general sale on Thursday 17th March.

By combining the most popular laptop features in a perfectly portable tablet form, the Galaxy TabPro S caters to those seeking the perfect multi-functional device to fit into their busy lives. Delivering full PC functionality with Windows 10 in a sleek design and with enhanced fast charging features meaning the Galaxy TabPro S can fully charge in just 2.5 hours and offers up to 10.5 hours of work and play; it is ideal for people looking for a device they can use in all aspects of their life.

"Interest in the Galaxy TabPro S since we announced at CES has been remarkable and we are hugely excited to be offering people the chance to pre order this innovative device ahead of it going on general sale on 17th March. We believe this product balances the best of Samsung's Galaxy Tab range with the wealth of features on the Windows 10 operating system for the most advanced 2-in-1 experience on the market," said Conor Pierce, Vice President, IT and Mobile, Samsung UK.

Designed to be easily carried, the Galaxy TabPro S features a sleek, lightweight form at just 6.3 millimetres thin and weighing 693 grams. Delivering the very first Super AMOLED display for Windows to the market, the 12-inch Galaxy TabPro S also features a multi-touch screen and a deeper colour contrast with 94 percent true colour reproduction for a best-in-class viewing experience, whether you're watching videos or flicking through photos. Plus, with the ability to stream Xbox One games to your Galaxy TabProS, you can quite literally take your gaming places.

A fully equipped keyboard cover, which comes included with the device enhances the usability with the keyboard's flexible hinge allowing for optimal, dual-angle viewing for the clearest display when used as a desktop or a tablet. What's more, the Pogo pin on the Galaxy TabPro S keyboard eliminates the need for pairing or charging separately. The keyboard's touchpad mirrors that of a PC to provide easy control, even when used in Stand Mode.

The Galaxy TabPro S delivers Samsung's advanced technology to maximise performance and power efficiency. It is the first 2-in-1 device, powered by Windows 10, to support LTE Cat 6 (* LTE SKU only) for the fastest and most advanced connected experience. For power-driven performance, the Galaxy TabPro S is equipped with the latest generation Intel Core M processor, designed for a fanless 2-in-1 tablet, featuring only 4.5W of power consumption to eliminate fan noise disruption and maximise efficiency.
