Green Lumia 1520 is no longer an AT&T exclusive; now on sale in Germany
Until today, if you wanted to buy a green-colored Lumia 1520, you had to go get one from AT&T. That has now changed as a retailer in Germany has started selling the green Windows Phone device, which also has some other features that the AT&T version does not have.
The retail website is Notebookbilliger.de, and it is currently selling the smartphone for 419 euros (about $510). Its version of the 6-inch Lumia 1520 has 32GB on onboard storage, versus just 16GB for the AT&T model. The German version also has built-in Qi wireless charging support, which is not available on the AT&T version. Finally, the German model supports UMTS LTE wireless frequencies making it ideal for those in Germany (as opposed to using one with AT&T's unique LTE bands).
The German green Lumia 1520 still has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz quad-core processor inside, along with 2GB of RAM and a 20MP rear camera.
