According to Eurogamer, the only place that the general public in the UK will be able to try the Xbox One X ahead of its expected November 7 launch will be at EGX 2017.

The annual gaming show, put on by Eurogamer's parent company, Gamer Network, will offer a chance to try out Forza Motorsport 7, Assassin's Creed Origins, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Sea of Thieves and Super Lucky's Tale — all boosted by the Xbox One X's extra horsepower.

EGX 2017 is set to run for four days, from September 21 through September 24, at the Birmingham NEC. If you live in the UK and want to give the Xbox One X a shot ahead of launch, you can grab tickets at the EGX site now.

As for the Xbox One X, Microsoft will finally have some good news for eager fans coming soon. The company plans to announce preorder details during its Gamescom show this Sunday, August 20.
